The Monochromatic Illuminator OMK-14 was designed for use in the laboratories of expert and forensic departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Illuminator includes two radiation sources: mercury lamp and halogen, monochromator, mirror projection system and high resolution digital video camera.
With this device you can evenly illuminate the object of investigation with monochromatic radiation of a given wavelength, and with the help of a video camera you can get a detailed image of the object on the computer screen.
